About Burtin & Associates, Inc.
Our commercial janitorial services company offers customized janitorial and building maintenance services to office buildings, childcare centers, schools and universities, federal and state facilities, healthcare clinics, retail businesses, and event centers in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Burtin & Associates, Inc. is licensed and insured, and the company is a certified WBE (Women Business Enterprise) and MBE (Minority Business Enterprise).
Our history
Our company was founded in 1985 as Burtin’s Building Services, Inc., and our goal was to provide commercial building maintenance customers with the timely, reliable, quality janitorial services they deserved. Founder and President L. Eric Burtin oversaw management of corporate operations, and the cleaning services business grew quickly. Mr. Burtin worked closely with the company operations manager and on-site supervisors to ensure that each janitorial services team met high standards of conduct and quality.

Burtin & Associates was incorporated as a complete facility maintenance management and consulting company in 2004, expanding its services to include lawn care, snow removal, light repairs, and supply management. In 2010, Mr. Burtin’s wife, Burnetta, joined the management team, bringing with her the organizational, communication, and people skills that she developed during her 29-year career in city government. Burnetta is the office and human resources manager and handles all day-to-day business operations.
